Celebrate Halloween with Organic YumEarth Candy

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

Can you believe it is October already? I am ready for cooler weather and everything pumpkin! It is still warm here in So Cal, so I keep getting excited when the weather gets below 80!

Another reason to be excited about October is Halloween. I love all the festivities that go along with this holiday. I enjoy parties and taking my kids trick-or-treating. My whole family enjoys this holiday and looking at overly decorated houses.

One thing I don’t enjoy about Halloween is all the candy. Most candy my kids receive is full of artificial colors and dyes, as well as made with artificial flavors and ingredients. I appreciate that there is a move from candy and non-sugary snacks to toys and natural treats. YumEarth offers a natural option for your trick-or-treaters. Their candy is organic and made with all natural ingredients.

Back to School Treats with YumEarth Organics Fruit Snacks

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

My kids love fruit snacks, but I don’t love what all fruit snacks are made with. Not all fruit snacks actually have fruit in them. One of my favorite brands is YumEarth. They offer fruit snacks that are made with real ingredients.

YumEarth Organics Fruit Snacks

I like to toss fruit snacks in my kids’ lunches once or twice a week and I refuse to buy fruit snacks made with high fructose corn syrup. YumEarth Fruit Snacks are free of corn syrup, and made with no artificial colors or artificial dyes. Each pouch contains 100% of your daily Vitamin C and is dairy, soy, and gluten-free. The fruit snacks are vegan and made with organic fruit juices.

Make Iced Tea in a Libre Tea Glass and Take it On-the-Go

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

Iced Tea is a staple for summer survival. I don’t know about you, but I am definitely still in summer mode here in Southern California. Iced tea is my go to drink when I want something different than water. Since I don’t drink soda, I tend to order it when I go out to lunch. I can’t order it at night because the caffeine will keep me up! Hot tea will be my constant companion once the cooler months hit. Also, as a substitute teacher, I tend to lose my voice at some point during the school year. Hot tea is very soothing and healing.

My favorite on the go tea glass is Libre Tea. The double walled bottle is made with a glass interior that keeps what is inside hot or cold, while the outer layer is made with durable poly which is break resistant and stays at a moderate temperature for easy handling. The Libre tea glass is also made to easily hold loose leaf tea. It has a removable stainless-steel filter that keeps the leaves in the glass and out of your mouth. The wide mouth also allows for easy cleaning.

Refresh Naturally with Icebox Water

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

I never buy plastic water bottles; I always use reusable bottles that I fill at home with tap water. Occasionally I need convenient packaged water to take with me on family vacations, long roadtrips, etc. Instead of buying flimsy plastic bottles, I turn to boxed water.

Icebox Water brings you fresh spring water, packaged at the source. The packaging is 100% BPA-free, so you can enjoy the pure, fresh water. Icebox Water sources their water from True North Spring in Canada. The water has a pH level of 7.4.

Pack a GoGo SqueeZ Applesauce for an On the Go Snack

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

My kids would eat applesauce with every meal if I let them. I prefer to give them applesauce that is unsweetened and only contains one ingredient: apples. During apple season, I like to make my own applesauce and jar it. I send it to school with my kids in reusable pouches.

My kids bring a snack with them to school everyday. At their first recess they are encouraged to eat a health snack. My kids always request applesauce. GoGo SqueeZ is a popular brand and one my children are fond of. They offer a variety of flavors and even an organic line. Their original line includes 12 flavors, but they also have a fruit & veggies line with 4 flavors and an organic line with 7 flavors.

Feeding your Body and Soul with Delta Blues Rice {+Sticky Rice Recipe}

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

Rice is a staple in our home. There are so many options when it comes to cooking rice. Delta Blues Rice is a Mississippi family owned and operated company. Located in the Mississippi Delta, generations have overseen the farm to table operation. From farming, to milling, to packaging, Delta Blues Rice does it all.

Their focus has been one kind of white rice, until now. Delta Blues Rice is now offering Brown Rice along with their signature White Rice. They also offer Rice Grits, which I had never heard of before. Rice Grits are broken pieces of white rice. You can use the Grits to make Risotto, or just substitute it your favorite recipe.
