Back to School Treats with YumEarth Organics Fruit Snacks

My kids love fruit snacks, but I don’t love what all fruit snacks are made with. Not all fruit snacks actually have fruit in them. One of my favorite brands is YumEarth. They offer fruit snacks that are made with real ingredients.

I like to toss fruit snacks in my kids’ lunches once or twice a week and I refuse to buy fruit snacks made with high fructose corn syrup. YumEarth Fruit Snacks are free of corn syrup, and made with no artificial colors or artificial dyes. Each pouch contains 100% of your daily Vitamin C and is dairy, soy, and gluten-free. The fruit snacks are vegan and made with organic fruit juices.

Pack a GoGo SqueeZ Applesauce for an On the Go Snack

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

My kids would eat applesauce with every meal if I let them. I prefer to give them applesauce that is unsweetened and only contains one ingredient: apples. During apple season, I like to make my own applesauce and jar it. I send it to school with my kids in reusable pouches.

My kids bring a snack with them to school everyday. At their first recess they are encouraged to eat a health snack. My kids always request applesauce. GoGo SqueeZ is a popular brand and one my children are fond of. They offer a variety of flavors and even an organic line. Their original line includes 12 flavors, but they also have a fruit & veggies line with 4 flavors and an organic line with 7 flavors.

I’m Snacking on Cosmos Creations

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

On days I work as a substitute teacher, I need snacks to help me get through the day. Some days are more tiring than others, but a great snack during recess is a vital part to my day. Cosmos Creations has been a great option for me, especially their single serving sized bags.

I was able to try the whole line of Cosmos Creations. Their puffed corn comes in a variety of flavors, satisfying both the savory and sweet tooth. Their flavors include Spicy Sriracha (my favorite!), Sea Salt & Vinegar, Aged Cheddar & Cracked Pepper, Sea Salt & Butter, Coconut Crunch, Salted Caramel, Caramel, and Caramel Apple Crisp. Doesn’t every flavor sound amazing?!?!?!

Organic Chewy Banana Treats with Barnana

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

While at Expo West earlier this year I was able to sample a wide variety of snacks. Barnana has created a unique snack with bananas. When I first heard about them, I assumed their product revolved around flavored dried bananas. I was pleased to find that I was very wrong! Their banana treats are CHEWY!

The two newest flavors of Barnana are being released this year: Apple Cinnamon and Coffee. Their other flavors include Coconut, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, and Original. Barnana Chewy Bananas Bites are made by removing 80% of the water from the bananas and adding in the specific flavor/ingredient. All Barnana flavors are organic, non-GMO, high in fiber and gluten free; they have no additives or preservatives. Their banana treats are high in potassium.

Goji Berry Lemonade and Tea Recipes

I didn’t know what a Goji Berry was till about a year ago when I was introduced at a children’s event at my local Co-Op. The Co-Op is a great resource for all-natural products and healthy living. My kids love going to their once a month Sunflower Kids club where they get to taste a variety of natural products and get to make their own healthy snacks.

The Goji Berry is a sundried superfruit. It has traditionally been used in Chinese medicines for thousands of years to strenghten the immune system and improve eyesight. They are a great sourse of mininerals including Zinc, selenium, Iron, Copper, calcium, and phosporous as well as vitamin B1, B2, B6, C, and E. Goji berries contain all of the essential amino acids, dietary fiber, and the highest concentration of protein versus any other fruit.

Everyday Snacks with Harvest Snaps

I try to find healthy snacks like fruit and veggies, but sometimes they want something savory. Harvest Snaps is the perfect savory snack for every member of my family.

Harvest Snaps come in two different varieties: Snapea and Lentils. The Snapea Crisps are made from 70% pea, while the Lentil Snaps are made from 65% lentil. Harvest Snaps offers a healthier snacking option, without sacrificing taste. The signature crunch comes from the fact they are baked – not fried. They are all-natural, tasty and guilt-free. Simply 7 ~ Simply Delicious Snacks for the Whole Family

My family would snack all day if they could. My kids take after my husband who is always hungry. Therefore I try to have some healthier snack options on hand. We always have fruit, but my husband likes crunchy snacks like pita chips with hummus. He also likes chips, but I hardly every buy them because they are so bad for you.

Simply 7 uses simple ingredients to create their line of chips. They make Quinoa, Lentil, Hummus, and Pomegranate Chips. The chips are natural and are non-GMO. These chips have 40-50% less fat than potato chips and have a 30+ chip serving size!

Unleash Your Inner Hippie with Boulder Granola

My family loves snacking on Granola. When I met up with Boulder Granola at Expo West, I knew they would become a favorite among my family. I was given all four of their varieties to try: Original, Gluten-Free, Cranberry, and Chocolate Chunk.

Boulder Granola is a family recipe that has been perfected over the past 45 years. It is made with organic granola and blended with nuts, seeds, and maple syrup. The granola can be eaten straight out the bag or enjoyed with milk, yogurt, or ice cream.

The Original is a simple blend of oats, nuts and seeds. I love the taste and the sweet simpleness of the granola.

The Gluten-Free is made completely of gluten free ingredients. Oats are naturally gluten-free, but the certified oats are kept separate to ensure that no gluten has gotten in. This blend is also dairy free.

New Refrigerated Stonyfield Organic Yogurt Pouches

I participated in a Blogger Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Stonyfield. I received coupons to facilitate my shopping trip and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

My kids are huge fans of yogurt! I only give them organic yogurt because I don’t want them exposed to chemicals found in common dairy products. Stonyfield Organic, which has a line of dairy products, has been a go-to brand for my family. We have tried a variety of their products.

The newest addition to the Stonyfield Organic family, is their yogurt pouches for baby, toddler, and kids, called YoBaby, YoToddler, and YoKids. All of the Stonyfield organic yogurt pouches contain pure organic ingredients and never any high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors.
