Diffusing Essential Oils #gentlebreezes

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

I love diffusing essential oils in my home. Whether it is to purify the air or give a welcoming scent to visitors, my diffuser is going everyday. For this reason, I prefer to have one in every room to maximize the benefits.

Diffusing Essential Oils

Over the last few weeks my kids have had colds, which has included runny noses and coughs. This summer cold is almost over, but they both have a linger cough that seems to get worse in the evening. When I diffuse appropriate oils in their room at night, I notice that the coughing goes away or is significantly less. If you want more info about what oils I recommend diffusing for an evening cough, email me or leave a comment below.

Make Your Own Home Cleaners with Essential Oils

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

I have been using all-natural home cleaners in my home for many years now, but I want to start making my own. Since I use essential oils daily in my home, why not make a few cleaners with the oils.

Cleaning with Essential Oils

I was given the opportunity to try an amber glass spray bottle from Emmi’s Essentials. It is always a good idea to use glass container when using essential oils, especially the citrus ones. This is the largest amber glass spray bottle I have ever seen! It is 16 oz and comes with a pipette and a decorative labels. The spray nozzle is adjustable and the bottle can be reused over and over again.

Use Essential Oils for Preventative Measures ~ DIY “Beat the Bug” Rollerball

Beat the Bug DIY Rollerball with Essential Oils

My daughter woke up in the middle of the night last night and began throwing up. I know most of you did not want to know that! My day has revolved around taking care of her and trying to help her feel comfortable and better.

Since I have decided to start selling essential oils again, I have been doing a lot research into the benefits of using each oil. Since I had a rollerball on hand, I decided to try and make a diluted, ready to use oil blend. Oregano, Lemon, and protective blend were all suggested to help with easing her stomach. The protective blend is made with 5 different oils (clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, orange, and rosemary) and smells amazing!

6 Uses for Tea Tree Oil

I have been using essential oils for a year and a half now and I love all the benefits that go along with using them. One of the most commonly used oils is Tea Tree Oil. This versatile oil naturally fight acne, toenail fungus, lice, yeast infections, skin tags, cold sores, dandruff, ringworm, fleas, warts, psoriasis, and more.

Not only does it help with all these problems, you can use it to make your own shampoo, lotion, soap, face cleaner, body wash, and toothpaste.

Better yet, you can use it to make all your natural household cleaners, detergents, shower sprays, bathroom disinfectants, and kitchen sprays.

 Amazing right?!?!?!

Natural Products for my Little Girl with 3 Girls Holistic #HolidayGiftGuide

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

My daughter wants to do everything I do! While it is sweet, there are things that she is just not ready for! She is only 4! One thing I do with her is paint her nails. She calls it “paint nolish”. I paint her fingers and toes with non-toxic nail polish. Every time I put on makeup, she wants to play with my makeup brushes. I don’t ever put makeup on my daughter but she likes how the brushes tickle her face, so I rub them on her face every now in then in a playful manner. I have encouraged my daughter (and son) to use lip balm to keep their lips from getting dry, specially at night. Again, I only provide them with natural options.

3 Little Girls Holistic ~ So they can be just like mom!

I want to be a good example for my daughter; therefore I only use natural products. I want my daughter to see me using products that are free of dyes, fragrances, and chemicals. When I first saw 3 Girls Holistic, I was impressed by their line of products. Their philosophy is that “You look your best when you feel your best.” Their products are designed to nourish the skin and promote overall health. Your skin absorbs whatever you put on it, therefore make sure that what you put on it, you would put in it!

Burn Soy Candles this Holiday Season #HolidayGiftGuide

Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

I love burning candles in my home, especially once the weather outside has gotten a little cooler. There is something cozy about burning a candle in the Fall and Winter time. I prefer to use more natural candles made of soy or beeswax and scented with essential oil, over fragrance oils.

Mountain Laurel Naturals has created a line of natural soy candles made with 100% soy and essential oils. No fragrance oils, dyes, or toxins can be found in their products. Soybeans are a natural, renewable source as opposed to candles made of petroleum. Wax candles are made of petroleum, a nonrenewable source, and contain toxic carcinogenic substances. While the candle burns, those toxins are released into the air. By eliminating petroleum and fragrance oils, and burning candles made of soy and essential oils, no toxins will be released.
