10 uses for Peppermint essential oil
Peppermint Essential Oil is one of the most commonly used oils. Here are 10 things you can do with Peppermint:

Clear Airways ~ Promotes feelings of clear airways and easy breathing when diffused.

Tummy Troubles ~ Rub a drop of peppermint on your tummy to help relieve stomach discomfort.

Bad Breath ~ Put a drop of peppermint under your tongue for an instant breath freshener. You can also make a quick mouth rinse with a drop of peppermint and lemon essential oils.

Sore Muscles ~ Combine with lavender essential oil to alleviate sore tired muscles and joints.

Overheated ~ A a drop or two of peppermint essential oil to a cold foot bath or compress to help cool off.

Tired ~ Inhale peppermint directly from the bottle for a non-stimulant pick-me-up.

Energy Boost ~ Apply a drop of peppermint essential oil diluted with a carrier oil, directly to the temples.

Tension ~ Dilute and apply 1-2 drops of peppermint to temples, back of neck, and forehead.

Upset Stomach due to Motion ~ Put 1-2 drops of peppermint oil in a gel cap and swallow. Diffuse in the air or inhale directly from the bottle. Dilute and apply 1-2 drops to your feet, temples, and wrists.

Lower Body Discomfort ~ Dilute and apply 1-2 drops on lower back, buttocks, and/or legs to alleviate pain. Adding 5-10 drops to 1 Tbs. fractionated coconut oil, you can massage it onto the spine, back, legs, and bottoms of feet.

I always recommend diluting with a carrier oil. You can use regular coconut oil from your pantry or you can use fractionated coconut oil (designed to stay liquid and never harden), jojoba oil, almond oil, etc. Just one drop of essential oil goes a long way when mixed with a carrier oil.

I had no idea that peppermint essential oils could be so beneficial. I have really bad sinus issues so I will definitely be giving this a try. Thanks so much for the idea!
