Holiday Gift Guide ~ I SEE ME! Personalized Books & Gifts

I have been working with I SEE ME! for the past 3 years! I am truly impressed with all of their personalized products for kids. Their most popular products are their personalized books!

My favorite part about their books is that some include a picture of your child throughout the book! So not only does the book have your child’s name in it, but also their picture. Not all books are designed to have a picture of your child, but every book is unique and special, and it makes your child feel like a star with their name throughout the story.

My nephew Noah is 4 and just starting to read. I picked this book because it included his picture throughout the story, which I know he will love. Personalized books make great gifts and are truly special to the recipient. I would have loved a personalized book when I was a kid, especially if I was in the story!

“Talk, Read, Sing” with First 5 California!

I keep hearing how important it is to start engaging with your children before they can talk or walk. My kids are now 6 and 7, so they do most of the talking now!

When my kids were younger, we used to have a nightly routine after getting ready for bed. This time was set apart as a family time to read together. My husband and I still read to our kids, but the routine has changed over the years.

It seems like my kids were babies ages ago, but in reality, only a few years have gone by since they could read on their own. I have always tried to encourage my kids to read, which started by reading to them when they were younger. Later on, I encouraged them to find books at the library that were interesting to them.

Dig Up Real Bugs with Dr. Cool #discoverwithdrcool

I have another great Discover with Dr. Cool kit to share with you! My kids loved the Crystal Growing Kit! Now they get to dig for real bugs!

Discover with Dr. Cool is awesome company. They have a huge line of science related activities, where kids get to explore and discover the cooler side of science. The earth science kits offer hands-on experience, whether they are cracking open geodes, examining real bugs, or unearthing fossils. These kits were created from scratch by a husband and wife team; one who knows about rocks, minerals, and crystals, and the other, a school teacher. You can see how their combined knowledge makes for great adventurous science kits.

My son is fascinated by space right now. He loves learning about the solar system and everything that it involves. We recently got replicas of the planets and have them hanging in our kid’s room. Annedroids Inspires Creativity During National Recycling Week

My kids love creating! I am impressed with their imagination to take a blank canvas and turn it into something unique that represents their personality. My kids were recently inspired by the Annedroids to create “things” out of nothing.

is Amazon Studios’ third original kids series. It can be watched on Prime Instant Video. This science based action series, created by JJ Johnson, follows three kids as they immerse themselves in the world of science. This show inspires kids to creatively think. Amazon’s goal is to inspire lifelong learners and provide children with the skills that will help them find personal and professional satisfaction in their future.

Annedroids is a live-action adventure series about “Anne,” a young female scientist, her human friends and their android assistants, and the amazing scientific discoveries they make while undertaking the biggest experiment of them all: growing up. The series spotlights, through trial and error, how science, technology, engineering, the arts and math (STEM) can inspire children to do great things.

My kids love educational books and ones that teach them about the world around us. They love learning about space, animals, and so much more.

Surprise Ride ~ A Monthly Subscription Box for 6-11 Year Olds

As you have seen, I love monthly subscription boxes! My kids have had great experiences with them as well. Surprise Ride is a subscription service that sends kids ages 6-11 fun and educational hands-on activities that foster creativity and imagination! The company was started by two sisters Donna and Rosy, and they have been working hard to create a lasting impact on the lives of children, beyond the latest toys or technologies.

My kids are always excited when something comes for them in the mail. They have gotten craft boxes before and loved the new and exciting adventures they found inside. The Surprise Ride is geared for older kids, which I feel is where there are not many things offered for this specific age group.

K5 Learning ~ An Educational Internet Resource for Kids

My kids are fascinated by electronics! I choose to limit their screen time, but they love playing games on the computer. I loved playing educational games growing up, so I can relate to their desire to play on my computer. Over the summer my kids were allowed to play on the K5 Learning site.

K5 Learning is an educational site designed for kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade with a focus in reading and math enrichment. This personalized online learning program is designed to help kids build reading, math and study skills.
