Product was given to me by Surprise Ride in order to post my honest opinion.
As you have seen, I love monthly subscription boxes! My kids have had great experiences with them as well. Surprise Ride is a subscription service that sends kids ages 6-11 fun and educational hands-on activities that foster creativity and imagination! The company was started by two sisters Donna and Rosy, and they have been working hard to create a lasting impact on the lives of children, beyond the latest toys or technologies.
My kids are always excited when something comes for them in the mail. They have gotten craft boxes before and loved the new and exciting adventures they found inside. The Surprise Ride is geared for older kids, which I feel is where there are not many things offered for this specific age group.
Each month, A Surprise Rider subscriber will get a new “ride” with a different theme for kids to explore. Past themes have included Birdsville: Learn how birds fly, Chocolate: Learn what makes a food organic, Hidden Treasures: Learn about real hidden treasures, and Mars: Learn about the planet Mars.
This month’s theme is Pow Wow and is focused on teaching kids about American Indians. The crafts include a dream catcher and tribal drum. The box also comes with a dance rattle, animal slide whistle, worry stones, an activity book and Pop’d Kernal Snacks.
Surprise Ride was featured on this past November. As well as on The View this past May. (see 3:54 for Surprise Ride mention).
My kids are so excited about this box and the adventure that awaits them! You can purchase a monthly subscription for $29.99 billed monthly. Or you can purchase a 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month subscription.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
I love the Pow Wow theme box! What a fun hands on way for my daughter to learn! Thank you for the info!

having older boys it is harder to find fun things like this for them. My 8 & 10 year old still like doing crafts, but not ‘baby’ ones. Thanks for this review. I’m going to see if we can get our Granny to get a subscription for us.

that is neat little box and i know the kid would love to have it and put the thing together as a group
I agree with you, there are not many subscription boxes geared toward the older child. This is exciting. It looks very high quality. Thanks for the review.
