Only 100% Organic Juice in this House

Back to School Snack & Lunch Ideas

I send my kids to school with water everyday. I am not to fond of most juice boxes, so I prefer to stick with water. I came across Uncle Matt’s Organic Juice at Whole Foods and realized that this was the type of juice that I would want my kids to drink. They have been drinking the juice for breakfast. I would send it to school if I had these .

Uncle Matt’s makes pure, organic juice with real fruit. They source their fruit from 25 small US family growers. They make four kinds of juices with a variety of orange juices. You can choose from Orange Juice with Calcium + Vitamin D, Pulp Free Orange Juice, Orange Juice with Pulp, Grapefruit Juice, Apple Juice, and Lemonade. I was given the opportunity to try their Pulp Free Orange Juice and Grapefruit Juice. Both were amazing!

Uncle Matt's Organic Juice

The orange juice was sweet and tasty. My kids loved it as well as my husband and I. We enjoyed it mostly for breakfast, before school. The grapefruit juice was great too. It wasn’t too sour, as some grapefruit juices are. It was the perfect blend of sweet and sour. Overall, these juices were amazing and I appreciate that they are made with just fruit…no added sugars or preservatives or dyes.

I was able to get these juices at Whole Foods, but if you don’t have one near you, use the store locator on their website.

Stir Fry Sauce Recipe made with Edible Green Tea

When I heard of a company that sold , I was excited to try it out. I was very curious to see what they would taste like, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they mix into pretty much anything and don’t have much of a taste. The first time I used them, I added them to my stir-fry sauce. It seemed like the perfect match, and it truly was. I crumbled the tea leaves into the sauce and then poured the sauce on my tofu and veggies and it gave the sauce texture. I also loved the way the sauce tasted on raw tofu. The tofu was soft and the tea leaves were a little crunchy. I plan on adding the tea leaves to smoothies and creatively into to other dishes.

There is no doubt about it, these tea leaves are good for you. I believe that if you can find something that is healthy and simple, then why not add it into your daily diet. I highly recommend trying this product and don’t be limit yourself with ways to eat your tea.

Natural Living Gloogle+ Party ~ 10/1 #NaturalLiving

As you may know, my blog is a part of the Green Moms Network. This is a group of green and natural bloggers who work together to bring you great giveaways, blog carnivals, and amazing posts. While previously we were all working on what we could bring to you, now we want to involve YOU!

Green Moms Network and it’s bloggers are having a Natural Living Google + Party!

What: Natural Living Google+ Party!

When: Tuesday, October 1st 2013

Time: 9-10pm EST (6-7pm PST)

Hashtag: #NaturalLiving

Not familiar with Social Media Parties? Here’s a bit more info!

What is a Google+ Party?

Much like a Facebook or Twitter Party, a Google + Party is where we all get together at a specific time and chat. We ask questions and you get to answer, you ask questions and we answer! It’s a great way to get to know the people behind the blogs you already love and in this case spread the word about natural living.

Why hashtags?

Using hashtags in a social media site is a way to connect with others who are also using the same hashtag. It’s really a label, a tracking method if you will. It’s also a way for people not involved to learn about what you are talking about. A friend may see you mention something and they can click on the hashtag which will open up comments/links/photos from other people with the same hashtag. It’s also a great way to find new companies and bloggers.

Who are the Hosts?

Hosts are the lovely people who are putting on the party. It’s important to follow them (circle them) so that you will be guaranteed to see what they post.
We are looking forward to chatting with all of you on October 1st at 9pm EST!
