Jojoba oil is a commonly used carrier oil, which blends well with essential oils. Jojoba oil has many uses, especially in your beauty regiment.

Jojoba Oil

Here are just a 5 things you can do with Jojoba Oil!

1. Solid Lotion Bar

To make a solid lotion bar, use 1 part jojoba oil, 1 part beeswax pellets, and 1 part coconut oil. Melt in a double boiler or use a bowl over a pot of water. Once the beeswax is melted, add in your preferred essential oil (15-20 drops) and pour the mixture into a silicone mold and let set. These lotion bars make great gifts! You can use your preferred essential oil scent, but a great combination is Wild Orange and Peppermint. Lavender is also a great choice.

2. Facial Cleanser & Make-Up Remover

Jojoba oil can be used on it’s own as a facial cleanser and make-up remover. Use just 2-3 drops on your face. Rub it on your dry face, then wash it off. You can also apply the oil to a cotton ball or Q-tip and swipe it across to remove your eye make-up.

3. Acne Treatment

In a 1 oz bottle, combine Jojoba oil with essential oils. Add 10-15 drops of Lavender and 10-15 drops of Tea Tree (Melaleuca) to your bottle. These are the main oils you need. If you have Rosemary, then add 3-5 drops. Then fill the rest of the bottle with Jojoba oil. Apply as needed as a spot treatment.

4. Hair Conditioner

Apply 3-4 drops of Jojoba oil into wet hair, focusing on the ends. After 10 minutes shampoo it out for a naturally, healthy glow.

5. Scar & Stretch Mark Minimizer

Jojoba oil is rich in Vitamin E, which is known to help heal scars and decrease the appearance of stretch marks. Apply to needed areas a couple of times a day.

For all of these projects I used unrefined, cold pressed, and organic Foxbrim Jojoba Oil. You can currently buy it on for $16.95 and it qualifies for free 2 Day Prime Shipping.
