I honor the earth by recycling, composting, and by having a garden
WE have a big family which would make one assume that we leave a large footprint, but thats not so. We use water saving appliances, take short showers; we have a fruit orchard in our backyard and grow our own veges in the spring and summer. We recycle more than we throw away, and I use cloth on my littles.
I recycle and make my own nontoxic cleaners.
I try to conserve water when I can. Rain barrels for watering plants and flowers. And buckets in the washtub to collect wastewater for washing the car. It’s small, but it helps!
