Every now and then our bodies need to detox. A cleanse is a great way to rid your body of toxins and allow your alkaline levels to balance out. A cleanse can also regulate your digestion and metabolism. If you own a juicer and have tried to juice before, you know the amount of produce you put in to make your own juice. Here is a green juice recipe I have done before. The problem with juicing, is the amount of work that goes into it. By purchasing a cleanse, you get the benefits without the work and clean up.

I have been using natural deodorants for a few years now. It was one of the first natural switches I made when I decided to start living a more eco-friendly lifestyle. I have tried different versions and one thing I look for is completely natural ingredients and essential oil scents.

I met up with Primal Pit Paste at Expo West and was given the opportunity to try their deodorants and lip balms. Their products are made with natural and organic ingredients and don’t contain any harmful chemicals. Parabens and aluminum commonly found in deodorants, have been linked to cancer, specifically breast cancer, and Alzheimer’s.

For their deodorant, Primal Pit Paste uses organic coconut oil, organic raw shea butter, non-aluminum baking soda, organic arrowroot powder, and organic essential oils. Eureka! ~ Not Just Your Ordinary Wheat Bread

My family loves bread! I make PB&J for my kids at least 3 days a week, so I try to use wholesome bread. Most of the time I stick with wheat bread from Trader Joe’s, but I was impressed by Eureka Baking Company at Expo West. They have three different kinds of organic wheat bread: Seeds the Day, Grainiac, and Saa–Wheat. These are not your typical wheat breads.

Saa-Wheat is your straight forward wheat bread with whole grains. Seeds the Day has 5 different seeds baked right into it and rolled in extra seeds. Grainiac has 12 different grains baked into it and is also rolled in seeds.
