Product was given to me in order to post my honest opinion.

Every morning I enjoy a smoothie. It is a great start to my day no matter what my day holds. Most of the time I make fruit and veggies smoothies, but sometimes I make a protein shake. Some mornings I wish I had certain fresh produce, that either I forget to purchase or ran out of.

1236796_695873477109512_1360220274_nActivz offers non-GMO whole-food powders. These organic powders can be easily added into your daily meals and snacks. These meal add-ins proved nutrition, color, and flavor of the original organic produce. They are convenient to have on hand when you run out of produce or want to take the prep work out of preparing the produce to be used. These powders also have a long shelf life and help you reduce food waste if you won’t be using everyday.

Activz Fruit and Vegetable Powders

Activz dehydrates their produce using gentle wavelengths of natural light. It targets water molecules leaving heat-sensitive phytonutrient compounds intact. Fruits and veggies that have been freeze-dried, show a loss of 12% of vitamin C as opposed to no loss during dehydration. Each powder is pure fruit or vegetable, with no added color, flavor, or preservative. There are zero artificial ingredients in their products.

Available in both fruit and vegetable powders, you have a wide variety to pick from.

Activz also offers recipes on their website, where you can limit your search based on the powder you will be using!

Health Benefits of Kale

I chose the Kale powder since that is what I normally add to my fruit smoothies. 1 serving of powder is equivalent to 1/2 cup of fresh kale. Activz get’s their kale from a 5th generation family farm in Willamette Valley or northern Oregon. I also chose the Blueberry-Acai powder because my kids love berry smoothies! 1 serving of powder is equivalent to 1/2 cup of fresh berries.

I put them together along with some frozen bananas and almond milk to create a morning smoothie. My kids loved it! My kids love blueberries so the Blueberry-Acai powder is perfect for them. The Kale powder will be sneaked into all future smoothies! I also want to try this Activz brownie recipe with Kale powder.

Oh, I’d pick mango first. If I picked a second flavor it would be strawberry.

I would love to try the Blueberrry-Acai. It sounds super yummy. The Carrot Juice would also be something I would love. This is so awesome, and I am super excited they are GMO free, as that is all my family eats :)
