Benefits of Soy Protein

In my family, I choose not to cook a lot of meat, therefore I am always looking for more ways for my kids to get the protein they need. I don’t like to have soy in every meal, but I like buying products that contain organically grown soy.

Soy protein helps support healthy growth and development in kids. It also fights against childhood obesity because it impacts satiety. Additionally, incorporating high-quality proteins, such as soy protein, into a child’s diet supports their immune system. Soy protein is a high‐quality, plant‐based protein derived from soybeans.  If you or your child have an allergy to milk, eggs, or peanuts, then soy protein is a healthy alternative.

I was sent an assortment of soy protein products to try including an A3 Honey Graham S’mores bar, a Nogii Kids Chocolate Chip bar, a “Soy Satisfying” Lunch Cooler, and a MorningStar Farms product.
If your kids are in need of a snack after school, before soccer practice or on day trips, A3 bars and Nogii kids bars are tasty alternatives that are packed with protein power. My kids always ask if I am bringing a snack with me when we go anywhere. My kids also think that all bars are treats so when they get one, they think it is a special sweet surprise!
MorningStar Farms makes a variety of products for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Ideally, children should get around 20 grams of protein at breakfast. For breakfast you can make MorningStar Farms® Original Sausage Patties, which contain 10 grams of protein per serving. My kids would love the MorningStar Farms Bacon Strips!
For lunch, you can Chik’n Nuggets or a Chik’n Veggie Pattie. My kids would also love their veggie dogs.
For dinner you can make one of their many burgers or entrees.

I have tried a variety of their products and have always been impressed!

We use soy almost daily. It’s a perfect protein alternative for a meat free diet.
