I am a huge fan of Libre glasses as well as loose leaf tea. I have gotten so many compliments on my Libre glasses; they are definitely an eye catcher. I was able to review one of their Original glasses last year and now I am sharing about their Mug.

The Libre glasses are created to make taking loose leaf tea on the go, easy and convenient. Libre has 3 different glass options: the Original, the Large, and the Mug. Pictured below is the Large, Original, then the Mug. Each glass comes with a lid and filter. They are made with a glass interior for fresh taste and a durable polycarbonate exterior so that you don’t feel the heat and the glass in protected.

The Mug has a handle and is shorter than the other options. It is the only option with a handle, so if you are used to drinking out a handled mug, this is the Libre glass you would want to with. If you are new to Libre, let me explain how it works. You have two options to brewing your tea. The lid is made up of two parts, the top lid and the strainer.

Option 1: Add tea leaves to the glass, add hot water and put both lids on. When you are ready to drink the tea, take only the top lid off, leaving the tea leaves in the glass. You can drink the tea through the strainer.

Option 2: Fill your glass up with hot water, then add the strainer part of the lid. Next add your tea leaves and cover with the top lid. Turn the glass upside down to let the tea steep for desired time. When you are ready to drink your tea, take off the top lid, then take off the strainer and discard the tea leaves. You can drink without adding the lid back on or you can add the strainer and top lid back on for travel.

I prefer to make my tea using option 1. I love that the tea leaves can float around in the water. I especially love when the tea leaves swirl around! If I am going to drink tea on the go, there is no question about what container I will take. I have gotten so many compliments and questions about my Libre; it is a great conversation piece! So many people are interested when they see the tea leaves floating round in my glass and I get to explain how cool my glass really is!

You can buy this Libre Mug for $32.50 on their website along with their other glasses.
