I have been wanting to start yoga for years. I see the benefits of doing yoga and I know that I could benefit from it. When I saw that I could do Yoga at home, at my own pace, and choose from a variety of “classes”, I was all in.
Reflexion Yoga is an online membership where members can filter through their video library to sort by Instructor, Class Length, Difficulty Level, and Body Focus. The videos are clearly labeled and you can start as a brand new beginner and learn basic poses or you can get in a 60 minute power yoga class.
I was impressed with the amount of available videos, as well as the variety. I started with Power Yoga – Basic Yoga with Erin. I happily followed the video in the privacy of my home! I hope to get some flexibility back that I use to have when I was younger. My daughter tried some of the poses next to me.
I love that I am able to do yoga at home when I have time. Right now my kids are off for the summer, so I need to do yoga while they are home. Once school starts I will probably do it while they are in school on days I am not working, but when I am working, I can still do it at home with them there.
Every video has one instructor and one student who follows what the instructor is saying. I have tried a few different classes and it was easy to follow the instructor and copy what the student was doing. I like that the instructor is just instructing and not explaining while doing the pose. I can listen to the instructor while focusing on the student, mimicking what they do. The students are also yoga instructors and people that know what they are doing, so their poses are perfect and I know exactly what I should be doing.
You can join Reflexion Yoga for $12 billed monthly or $99 for the year. I am trying out the yearly membership and I hoping to make Yoga a part of my daily routine.
