I use a moderate amount of makeup on a daily basis including powder foundation, blush and mascara. Sometimes I wear eyeshadow and on special occasions I put on eyeliner. I am not a big fan of liquid foundation; I prefer either pressed or loose powder. Advanced Mineral Makeup offers foundation in three forms including liquid, pressed powder and loose powder, along with other natural makeup products. Their makeup line has no dyes, perfumes or talc. The products are all paraben free and 100% vegan. Even better, this makeup has been used on the set of Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS because it’s so camera-friendly! It gives the skin a youthful look and works well with sensitive skin.
One of the fun parts about picking out foundation through Advanced Mineral Makeup is that you get to match your skin to a Celebrity. Using their Shade Finder, you match your skin tone to celebrities including Taylor, Angelina, Eva and Halle. Once you pick the celebrity that best matches your skin tone, it lists the different foundations that would work with your skin. There are 4 different Pressed Powders, one for each celebrity, but for the Liquid Foundation, there are multiple options for each celebrity so that you can better identify your perfect match.
I was given the opportunity to try out their Pressed Powder Compact. My skin type matched Angelina, especially since it is summer and my face already has some coloring! This mineral foundation offers full coverage for most skin types as well SPF protection with its natural zinc and titanium dioxide ingredients. The pressed powder stays on all day and is transfer-proof. It will not settle into fine lines and wrinkles which can look tacky, but will smooth over your skin giving it a natural glow. This powder can be used as foundation and concealer, as well as a touch-up powder, all while providing natural SPF protection. If your skin isn’t perfect, this foundation may still work for you. It can cover acne, hyper pigmentation, and rosacea, all while repelling shine and hiding redness.
I really liked this compact because the foundation was light enough to be used as a touch up powder throughout the day, but gave me full coverage in the morning when I first did my makeup. I appreciate that it also provides a layer of SPF protection. I try to layer as many SPF products on my face everyday to protect my skin from the sun. The semi-matte finish also makes my skin look and feel smooth. This makeup is lightweight and I don’t feel like my face is being weighed down. I will probably keep this compact in my purse to do touch-ups throughout the day.
Your skin will look naturally beautiful with this mineral makeup! The lightweight coverage will protect and give your skin a natural glow. You can buy the Pressed Powder Compact online for $38.50. Advanced Mineral Makeup also offers a variety of natural products on their site as well, including blush, eyeshadow, and makeup brushes.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
