I am going through a phase right now: Kale Chips!!!

I want to eat them everyday! They are so easy to make and take only 20 minutes including prep.

Here is everything that you will need!

Baking Sheet

Sea Salt

Garlic Olive Oil (or any other infused or plain olive oil)

Oil Spray

Organic Kale

Nutritional Yeast

Preheat oven to 350

Wash kale and pat dry

Tear or cut up into pieces, removing the thick core if desired.

Spray baking sheet then place pieces of kale on it.

Drizzle olive oil over kale then sprinkle with sea salt and nutritional yeast

(less salt is better)

Bake for about 10-12 minutes and check on them.

Don’t let them brown too much or they will taste bitter.

I like them a little more chewy than too dry.

Depending on your oven it may take up to 15 minutes to bake.

I encourage you to experiment with them trying different seasonings and different infused oils if you have them!

I used Bari Garlic Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the flavor is amazing!

ENJOY!!!!

I have never tried Kale. Can you tell me what the flavor is like? It must be healthy because it’s all over the crunchy blogs, etc. Thanks for sharing! :)

I was never really into them before this year. A lot of people use a dehydrator and that produces a completely different taste. I use the oven because I don’t have a dehydrator! I like them to still have a little kale flavor so that is why I take them out a little early. Try it out with olive oil and sea salt first and then start experimenting with flavors and spices. I am trying to stick to a veggie diet right now, so this is the perfect snack!

  5. Do you find that they stay nice and crunchy the next day? I’m wondering if they’d be good and last long if you dehydrated them in the oven – like at 150 degrees for many hours?

They actually don’t stay crunchy out of the oven! I think a they would stay crunchy if you tried keeping them in longer at a lower temp! If you try that let me know how it goes! Sometimes I just want them, make them, and eat them all :)
