I never buy plastic water bottles; I always use reusable bottles that I fill at home with tap water. Occasionally I need convenient packaged water to take with me on family vacations, long roadtrips, etc. Instead of buying flimsy plastic bottles, I turn to boxed water.

The packaging is made of 74% paper, which is 76% less plastic than a traditional PET (plastic) bottle! The boxes are compostable, and will break down in 2-24 months depending on composting conditions. The box is also recyclable if you don’t compost. Another benefit to boxed water is that it stays cooler longer since it has better insulation than plastic bottles.

You can buy Icebox Water by the case on their website. It comes in 2 different sizes. Connect with Icebox Water on , , and .
