We are growing our own tomatoes in our backyard this summer. We are also using re-usable water bottles instead of getting a new plastic water bottle every time we need water.

We reuse everything possible! We also try to make our own natural products whenever possible (lotions, lip balms, etc). In addition we will be growing a lot of vegetables this summer and the rest should come from our local farmers market!

Collect rain water in rain barrels for watering the garden & washing the car, bikes and a lot more. It’s really a way of living, using glass water bottles etc.

We are trying are best to make our summer eco friendly by not using any paper items and recycling everything we can. If at all possible, we stop and pick up trash we come across and take it the recycling bins.

We reuse and recycle everything we can. We are getting ready to bring all of our aluminum cans and the neighbors cans up to the recycle center. We are also doing a garden where we can grow some of our own vegetables.

Well, we aren’t watering the lawn, at all! It just uses such an incredible amount of water, and the cost in my city is crazy. We have one spot where we grow things and water just that.
