I love mōksa! I have been customer for over a year and I truly love this company, it’s products, and what they stand for. I have tried most of their products including their soap, body oil and body butter. My initial review is HERE if you want to read it and learn more about their Kilimanjaro project for the African Elephant.

mōksa organics created a “Clean Revolution.” A Revolution that combines our deep love for nature, a love for activism, and a desire to be a part of a world that offers peace and well being for all species. Social Entrepreneurship is the heart of our Revolution.

Our ingredients: Certified Organic. Fairly Traded ingredients whenever possible. No chemicals.

Our products will never include palm oils. Commercial harvesting of palms for their oil is the leading cause of the ecosystem’s loss of habitat and deforestation. Our ingredients were chosen with the least amount of environmental impact. Our packaging is tree free. We use post consumer waste, recycled materials, and no virgin plastics.

We support: Just and Fair wages. Women’s cooperatives. Environmental advocacy groups. Sustainable businesses. Local businesses. Non-profit environmental organizations.

We’re carbon neutral!

Respect our Planet, Support Human Rights & Start a Clean Revolution!

Enjoy your shower. Love your soap.

Haskell & Melanie Martin
Owners/Founders, mōksa organics, inc.

I am excited to announce that mōksa will be coming out with a liquid soap line. I have stated on this blog that I am solely a bar soap kind of girl! But I can say today, that I am looking forward to trying out their liquid soap line! mōksa is currently in the process of producing both a hand and body liquid soap. {Come back next month for a review :) } As they prepare to launch this soap next month, they have embarked on a Soap on a Mission Campaign.

Watch this video to learn more! And find out more about the campaign HERE.

Goals of Fundraiser

1)    Enhance our vision of Social Entrepreneurship through moksa’s business model

2)    Demonstrate that there is enough demand for moksa’s new products, to
give us the confidence to expand our equipment and facilities.

3)     Begin the process and construction of an off grid factory to minimize the environmental impact and carbon footprint of manufacturing.

4)    Support our not for profit organizations through monetary donations and to raise awareness to the general public through media outlets and moksa soap labels.

5)    To strengthen our mission of creating socially responsible products for consumers and our community.

6)    Create a stronger community with our partner organizations so that we/they can continue to make positive changes towards sustainable lifestyles, both locally and globally.

Basically, the owners/founders of mōksa, Haskell & Melanie Martin, are ready to expand and they need money to help them get started! They need better machinery and more space to keep up with the demand of their products. mōksa is asking that you make a pledge to purchase there liquid soap line when it comes out. There are perks to making a pledge! If you pledge $50 or more, you will be getting product equivalent to your pledge. Once you make a pledge, you will get a 50% off coupon to use on a future purchase valid in 2013, as well as a second 50% off coupon valid whenever.

“we are mōksa

mōksa only uses the best ingredients in their products! I appreciate that their products are certified organic and their ingredients are fairly traded. Their ingredient lists are simple and short…which I think is the best way to go! I care about what goes on my skin and gets absorbed into my body. One amazing thing that mōksa does is that whenever you purchase a certain scent, a portion of the purchase goes to a specific organization that is committed to supporting third world countries to break the chains of poverty and social injustices, protecting endangered species, an end to Mountain Top Removal Coal Mining, reforestation: locally and globally, an end to factory farming and animal cruelty, supporting local food economies and the slow food movement, supporting sustainable agriculture, and/or promoting resource efficiency and self reliance. I think that is pretty amazing! I think you can tell why I love this company so much!

My favorite soap is Abbey Road and I love my Orange Ginger Body Oil!
