As a mom, I find that relaxation comes in multiple ways. While the word relaxation may take you to a sandy beach with no kids to take care of, or getting a mani and pedi, it can also come in the form of peace of mind. I find that I can relax when I use organic and natural products, knowing they are good for my skin as well as the environment. I met up with Sow Good at the NPA Marketplace in Las Vegas in June. Their products are all NPA certified, which means that in order to earn the NPA seal, they had to demonstrate that their products met the requirements of natural ingredients, safety, responsibility and sustainability. Sow Good carries products for men, women, and baby.

I was given the Happiness 3-in-1 Natural Shampoo, Shower & Bath Gel to review. It can be used as shampoo and body wash in the shower, but can also be used to create bubbles in the bath. It does not contain sulfates, phthalates, parabens, propylene glycol, artificial color, gluten or petroleum. It is vegan, pH skin compatible, not tested on animals and biodegradable. I have been using this in the shower…I haven’t taken a bath in a while, especially with the heat. As a shampoo, I found that the gel doesn’t lather or spread easily (which I am finding more and more, the more I turn to natural products). I have gotten used to it, and after a while have figured how to use it best. It left my hair clean and fresh looking. It makes a great body wash as well. I prefer bar soap, so at this time I will use this mostly for my hair. Since they don’t offer a conditioner, I have used this on days that I don’t want to add conditioner to my hair. This scent smells strong in the shower but doesn’t last once you are out…I appreciate that!
I was also given the Happiness Natural Eau de Parfum Rollerball. It does not contain sulfates, phthalates, parabens, propylene glycol, artificial color, gluten or petroleum. It is vegan, not tested on animals and biodegradable. The parfum is made with natural essential oils and alcohol made from organic sugar cane. The fragrance should be applied to your pulse points, your wrists, neck and behind your knees, where it warms and rises creating an aura around you. You should scent each wrist, rather than rubbing your wrists together, to preserve the strength of the fragrance. I have used the rollerball a couple times now! Before I had kids I used to wear parfum more often. Even though they are 3 & 4 now, I still forget to put it on! I have eliminated certain parfums from my collection due to the toxic ingredients. I have a few sprays and now this rollerball in my collection. I like having a rollerball and it travels easily. I have worn this a couple times now and like the sweet scent. The first time I used it I put too much on and it felt sticky. If you are not used to a rollerball, try it out and get used to how much to put on.
Top – lemon blossom, green pear
Mid – peach, rose, basil
Base – smooth sandalwood, caramelized vanilla sugar
