All you need is a juicer and your favorite veggies and apples!

For this juice, I used some kale and chard, cucumbers, zucchini, bell peppers, apples and a lemon! Chop everything up to fit in the juicer. I start with the chard and kale and push it through with the more solid piece so it doesn’t get jammed. I also save the lemon for last because it is juicier and will push the remainder of the veggies through. I also strain out the pulp…I like my juice smooth, not chunky! And my little helpers like to juice as well!

Do you juice? I would love to know what veggies you use!

  1. Great green juice recipe, made a similar concoction this morning except I used swiss chard and orange bell peppers.

Curious, what juicer is that!?! It looks awesome! And, do you have any suggestions for using the pulp? I hate wasting ours but don’t know to use it for!

It is an Omega Juicer, we got it at Bed Bath and Beyond! If it is fruit pulp, sometimes I eat it as it comes out :) or you can turn it into a frozen dessert! I haven’t done much with veggie pulp, but I just got a composter so I think the pulp would help out my soil!

Oh cool! We have an Omega too but it’s completely different! I’ve made lots of frozen desserts with ours, but never with the pulp. I might have to try that! We’ll also have a compost bin when we move so that’s a great idea!

  3. Great idea! Now I want to go out and buy a juicer!

No, I don’t juice. I need a juicer. :) My mom used to juice when we were little. I thought it was gross back then, but now I would love to do it!!!
