I enjoy entertaining and having friend’s over and that means that I need a variety of serving trays and bowls. That is why I think this is an amazing find! Have you ever seen a wine bottle turned into a cheese tray?

To complete my Eco-friendly Outdoor Entertainment package I received a Recycled Bottle Cheese Tray to review from Blue Sky Collection. I love that you can turn a bottle into a cheese tray! You can even put the tray in the freezer for a couple hours to make it cold and then it will prolong the freshness of your food while it sits out. Or you can put the tray in a cold oven and warm it to 175 in order to keep your food warm. If water gets inside, let it dry completely and don’t set it in the freezer or the oven, or it will break. Due to the beading, the tray cannot be put in the dishwasher.

This is taking recycling a step further! The Recycled Wine Bottle Beaded Cheese Tray is made from a recycled clear wine bottle that’s been flattened. It’s functional art made from recycled goods. The wine bottle is beaded with aqua glass gems and wire wrapped. Has a small amount of sand inside to give it a beachy feel. Comes with a beaded spreader. Made in the USA.

 

Once I got the tray I was able to truly appreciate the beauty of the recycled bottle! I love the way that is bent and molded to lay perfectly flat. In the picture I couldn’t tell where the sand was, but I can now see that it is in the outer lines of the bottle. I also assumed that the bottle was flat, but the bottom of the bottle is angled, as is the neck of the bottle, to create a raised tray. The cheese knife has beautiful blue beads wired on it. I am looking forward to featuring this product at my next party, which is actually on Sunday, for my daughter’s birthday party. I will post pictures after the party.
