Anybody ready for summer? Anybody ready for those pesky bugs that come along with summer? Anybody out their planning on going camping over summer break?

I am ready to feature another Wildwood SoapWorks product that will keep your skin happy and the bugs off! (To read my original post go HERE or search for #WildwoodSoapWorks to see all my posts.)

“Buzzed” Natural Bug and Tick Spray:

This is a natural blend of essential oils and a proprietary extract that repel mosquitos, ticks, gnats, no-see-ums, black flies, green head flies, chiggers, and generally annoying things with wings or legs. In a fractionated coconut oil base, it does not disappear when you sweat, nor will it stain your clothes. How does it smell you ask? Fabulous! Some of our regular clients have purchased it to use as a natural perfume since their mates are allergic to the chemicals prevalent in that industry. Yes, it really works! We guarantee or your money back, no questions asked! 2 oz. spray bottle.

I have never really had a problem with bugs, they must not be attracted to me, but I know that is not the case for everyone. Where I live, there are not many bugs, but I was able to test this spray out on my last camping trip.

My husband and I went with two of our close friends on a camping trip in the hills behind Santa Barbara! We had such a great time and part of that is because we had “Buzzed” with us! I haven’t been camping in a while, especially in the mountains (our last camping experience was a beach a couple of years ago).

My friend’s brought with them citronella candles and bug spray because one of them always gets bit and they have never found anything that really works. So Wildwood SoapWorks was put to the test.

I was actually a little hesitant to use the spray because I have memories of using bug spray before and it stank and made my skin feel sticky! My friend’s picked up “Buzzed!” and doused themselves in it immediately. I actually liked the way it smelled and decided to put it on my arms. I was surprised at how it felt! It kind of felt like a buttery lotion, not at all sticky! Another reason I was hesitant was because this was day 1 of 3 with no showers and to me, adding stickiness to accumulated dirt does not sound like fun!

Well, did it work? OHHH YES! My friend, who ALWAYS gets bitten while using chemical bug spray, only ended up with three bites that he is sure he got before he used “Buzzed”! I had a couple bites on my arms and everyone else had just a couple bites too! I was wearing sandals the whole trip and I had no bites on my feet! So the spray works and I highly recommend it (as do my friends)!!!

You can purchase “Buzzed” on the Wildwood SoapWorks website along with the rest of their products including soap bars, lotions bars, lip balms, healing balms, and baby products. “Buzzed” is valued at $19.95. Don’t forget that for a limited time you can get free shipping on all orders over $10!!!
